YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SERVICE
The Camarillo Youth Employment Service provides job placement services for youth ages 14 to 21 years, or up to 23 if in college. Applications are accepted Monday through Friday from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo, 1500 Temple Avenue, Camarillo 93010. Businesses and residents are invited to offer temporary or permanent work opportunities for our local youth. For more information, please call 482-0775.
POLICE EXPLORER PROGRAM
The Camarillo Police Department sponsors a Police Explorer Scout program in
conjunction with the Boy Scouts of America. This program is offered for youth between the ages of 14 and 20 who are interested in careers in law enforcement. It includes meetings, training, ride alongs and community service opportunities. For additional information, contact the program supervisor at 388-5129.
