The City of Camarillo's budget review is an ongoing process. The official budget review
period for the next fiscal year, which starts on July I of each year, begins in February.
Department requests are sent to the Finance Department for review in March and then each department meets with the City Manager to review its individual requests. The City Council meets in a budget study session in late May or early June so that final adoption of the budget can occur before July 1. The City Council study session and the Council meeting at which the budget is adopted are open to the public. For more information about the City's budget, call the Finance Department at 388-5320.
