COVID-19 Statement: Beginning June 29, 2020, Camarillo City Hall will be open to the public, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PLEASE NOTE: FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER CITY HALL. We encourage all community members to continue to utilitze services that are available online or over the phone as much as possible, in order to maintain social distancing and help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Building & Safety services are provided contractually, by Charles Abbott Associates, Inc. of Mission Viejo. This group of employees work in Camarillo City Hall handling the [permitting, inspection and plan check services for the city. The Department of Building and Safety offers an Online-Permit system. This is a simple, hassle free way to obtain non-plan check permits.
Construction & Demolition Debris Program
The Construction and Demolition Debris Program helps ensure that all projects comply with state and local laws. In accordance with the California Green Building Standards Code (CalGreen), all new residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction projects in Camarillo are required to divert a minimum of 65 percent of construction and demolition (C&D) waste from landfill disposal.
