Upcoming Regional Planning Workshops (Post Date: 5/16/19)

Camarillo, California – The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) encourages the public to share input on long-range planning efforts.

For the past year, SCAG has been working with all the cities in their region to collect updated land use and growth projection data for SCAG’s long-range planning work. SCAG is entering the next phase of development for the Connect SoCal plan: the 2020-2045 Regional Transportation Plan and Sustainable Communities Strategy, which involves extensive public engagement and input.

Over the next two months, SCAG will host a series of community workshops to share information about Connect SoCal and solicit input on how we as a region can grow, increase access to opportunities, maintain our quality of life and meet our greenhouse gas emissions targets. Input and engagement from across the region is critical in this process.

The following workshops will be held in Ventura County:
June 1, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Ventura Community Center, 501 Poli Street, Ventura 93002

June 10, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
